Dovetail Games share some pictures of Piper Super Cub from their Flight School software scheduled for release on May 24th. Look closely to see some details of London in the background.
What really caught my eye
DTG Flight School seems to be much closer to P3D than to FSX in terms of lighting and visibility options. It is something we can expect from the sim that uses DX11.
I do not like
- blurry scenery textures
This scenery is as blurry as mine during low-level supersonic flights… I do not understand why would someone publish blurry images. It brings questions about software performance – is it that bad that even the developer is unable to get good results?
What can I surmise about the scenery?
I compared the images with my FSX. London looks quite similar to FSX scenery – possibly FTX Global but surely without the Vector and openLC Europe. I do not see the vector railways or two parks that are precisely defined in openLC. Instead – the parks look a bit more random – like in default FSX scenery.
